About this deal

I will clear this up by drawing a music analogy, as the art of sound is often mirrored by the art of scent. It starts really grassy and harsh, it's really realistic grass though which makes it interesting again. So does it smell like Cool Water (or vice-versa)? It does. Does it therefore have the same emotional appeal? No.

Though good, Green Irish Tweed is clearly composed mostly of synthetic ingredients like white musks, dihydromyrcenol, ambroxan, octyn esters, and so on. If we compare, you can see the opening of Cool Water is the most extraordinary here, and the opening of Cool water is more than enough to fall in love with it. Excellent performance and feeling proud and more confident while going out for a drink and having this in your skin. Clearly, the winner here is Cool Water. However, it’s a personal preference. You simply can’t just deny the overpowering scent of CW intense and CW Parfum. But they are not worthy enough to beat Cool Water. Projection And Longevity It's classy, it's fresh, it's elegant. I really enjoy its cool verbena and green note, as the ambergris as a basenote.

now to PDM and Initio. Yes „sisters“ if you can call it that, if the CEO (dad of demy rawlings boyfriend, reason why she adverts the fragrances in any given opportunity) is literally the same dude who works with arabian clone house perfumers who also use mostly cheap synthetic ingredients. Also PDM is know for literally ripping off other successfull niche frags or designers and „reinventing“ them as niche fragrances with overly high prices. I have smelled a lot of PDMs (and yes they perform great and smell pleasant) but i gott say that Percival is indeed an expensive fierce, layton is indeed an expensive boss bottled, herod is indeed very close to tom fords TV and so on. Creed hasnt cloned a single fragrance except for revenge reasons (original santal for explorer vs montblanc), in actuality it’s the other way around. Creed is the brand that’s cloned by literally everyone, thousands of aventus copies by even big niche houses (tiziana terenzi orion, nishane hacivat, montblanc explorer and way more…) GIT, SMW, Millesime Imperial all fragrances copied to death and despite all the copies, creed managed to reign and it’s for one simple reason, THE SMELL, which is what fragrance is actually about. They can copy but they will never match the quality of a true creed. I love this, I will always love this but something changed somewhere along the line. It no longer gets the attention it once provoked out of people. It no longer gives that moment of nirvana. The opening flourish that greeted the nose like a fanfare of trumpets from heaven itself is gone. reminds me a little of the smell of the barbershop in the opening with the dry down you smell the iris going strong with the woods something very insane, it will never ever let you down in any occasion you believe that the perfume has launched in 2010??? Never too late to try it I guess It does smell like Cool Water but much higher quality indeed. There's lots of blue, but in an ozonic aromatic, not artificial aquatic kind of way. There's a lot of ambergris/ambroxan(?) - it's this kind of leathery-salty from the very beginning to the end. It does last about 10 to 11 hours on my skin, BUT! the projection is moderate throughout the lifetime of the fragrance, it's never a screamer and it's the strongest for about 3-4. The cool Water series is famous for it’s freshness. As all of these fragrances use rich notes, as a result, they all provide fantastic projection and longevity. The performance level of these fragrances is almost similar.

All in all, an incredible fragrance that is worth all the hype it gets, very versatile(Spring/Summer/Fall-can be), and masculine. Green Irish Tweed opens with top notes of iris and lemon verbena. The middle notes include violet leaves. The base notes are ambergris and Mysore sandalwood. Smells nothing like the original Cool Water. It has more of a cool, minty, airy vanilla, similar to Versace Eros mostly, a possible a little like Le Male. It's more subtle and wearable than both, so if you want a less intense (despite the name), work-appropriate and possibly more refined version of Eros, this could be a good find. I'd say don't blind buy it unless you like 80s or 90s masculine fragrances, salty vibes, and/or know and at least like Cool Water. It is leaning masculine in a very traditional way, but I can easily imagine a woman wearing this - nobody's stoping you, c'mon. As it's fresh you can wear it the whole year, but I think it's best for everything and anywhere, office included, but winter. In the case of Cool Water, it starts with a minty-fresh projection, and after some time, it tempers down and lasts well. It’ll undoubtedly help you to recreate your mood. The sweetness level is balanced and delightful. It’s one of the best fresh fragrances which will always help you to feel fresh. There is also a bit of a mysterious smell with a base of violet and verbena together…A little like Cool Water-but with better class! I absolutely love GIT shall I get a new bottle?! I will regardless but I did try a 20K01 and had no body to it sadly. I don’t think you could ever wear this and overpower anyone, as it is not strong in the sense that it doesn’t shoot up your nose or have any sharp or chemical edges. I just feel it gives me and anyone close to me a gentle hug and a feeling of warmth. I saw this fragrance in Douglas in Berlin and tried it out. The green and woody smell in the opening kinda shook me and gave a r3ally interesting vibe I personally don't know like a lot of fragrances and this was first of its kind for me. I liked it in the opening and liked it even more when it settled down to its middle notes. But now with the base notes and the sandalwood smell I freaking love it favullbulous. It's give a really cozy feeling.
